Hayden Annett

If you could spend one day with anyone in history who would it be and why? I would love to spend a day with Michael Jordan so I could feel what its like to be the greatest of all times.
Most Memorable Moment in life: Every time I’m with my family.
Hobbies: Aussie Rules Football, Music

Coach's Notes: Hayden is a player who has good game knowledege as well as in the gym shooting range. Hayden’s strengths are in his perimeter game but he has the ability to go off the bounce as well. His success will come not from the jump shot but his ability to create his own shot at the level of competiton the Flyers will see. Hayden will need to do more than be just a great shooter to attract the looks of college coaches, he will have to do the small things to show that he is deserving of a college scholarship. Hayden has the tools and now he must find a way to put it all together to increase his opurtunities to play at the next level. The Flyers are counting on the fact that he will do just that.
Phillip Bond

Athletic Accomplishments: Bluegrass Regional’s MVP, Louisville KY Five Star Camp 2009 All Star Team, Five Star Camp MR. Station Award
Academic Achievements: The 2008\2009 School year I achieved a 3.8 GPA for the year.
Future Goals: To attend college on a basketball scholarship and one day own my own business.
Planned Course of Study in College: Undecided.
If you could spend one day with anyone in history who would it be and why? I would love to spend a day with Martin Luther King, because without him I wouldn’t have the opportunities to achieve my goals.
Most Memorable Moment in life: When I had my braces removed.

Coach's Notes: Phillip is a lighting quick point guard, and is the NCBA’s only true point guard on the 09\10 roster. Phillip has big shoes to fill by the departure of highly recruited NCBA standout Kierre Greenwood. Kierre led his 08\09 Flyer teammates to consecutive National Titles; we have been so blessed to not be just good at the point but great. Year after year a special point guard leaves our program and another one seems to find his way to Richmond, Indiana. Well yet another one has arrived on campus and he has the potential to be very good. Phillip has range on his shot; he has cat quick hands and calm about his game that allows him to hit big shots late in games. If the saying history repeats itself is true then we're in for a ride, buckle up and enjoy.
Denham Buchanan Jr.

If you could spend one day with anyone in history who would it be and why? Martin Luther King Jr, I would have liked to witness first hand the movement and his great speeches as he impacted an entire Nation to except change.

Coach's Notes: Denham finds his way to NCBA through Coach John Clara of The Scadding Court Ballhawks AAU program in Canada. Coach Clara has recommended several players to the program that he has worked with the past five years. We have had goods success on and off the court with his players. Denham is a player who each day continues to grow and become more of a complete player. The ability to shoot the ball from the perimeter is his strength as well as his ability to rebound the ball. Denham has some growing to do as a basketball player but we believe that with the dedication he has shown thus far he will be a major part at the Flyers run to win three National Titles in a row. Denham is currently a high D-2 NCAA talent, we firmly believe by the time March rolls around he will be receiving Division One offers.

Most Memorable Moment in life: Scoring 62 points in the Martin Luther King AAU Tournament

Coach's Notes: Lee is a very long player who has the ability to score the ball from the perimeter and go off the bounce; he is currently receiving Division One interest from several schools. I believe that Lee has the ability to be a solid player for the FLYERS IN 09\10. The contribution that he will make next year at the college level will be a direct result in how he develops and works to get better leading up to his arrival on his college campus next year. With a long frame and the ability to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor, Lee has a major upside. The tools and abilities are present, now the work begins to achieve his dream.

If you could spend one day with anyone in history who would it be and why? I would spend the day with my Uncle Gary who is deceased. My Uncle always had extremely high expectations for me involving Academics and Athletics, and I feel that today I am living his dream. Rest In Peace, Uncle Gary.
Most Memorable Moment in life: Every time I make my family, especially my mom proud.

Coach's Notes: Junior is a player who has yet to scratch the surface of how good he can be. I believe as he improves and continues to work hard Junior has the ability to dominate for the Flyers in 09/10. Junior currently is a solid Division One Mid Major Talent, his growth here at NCBA will determine if he can take his game to that elite level. If talent and potential were all it took then he’d be a McDonalds All American. The Flyers are expecting great tings for McLeod well beyond this season.

Coach's Notes: Abdul is an extremely hard worker and wants to improve every day, as an athlete this is the foundation needed to be great. Abdul has much ground to cover and has shown great strides in his game. With his heart and determination Abdul will see his dream of playing college basketball come true. Abdul is what Coaches like to call a late bloomer so he has a lot of ground to cover but were believing and trusting that the hard work and preparation he is showing will pay off for Abduls future and the Flyers in 09\10.

Coach's Notes: Walter is a gifted athlete who can wow crowds with his abilities. At 6’10 he’s a presence that must be respected whether he’s 20 feet from the basket or posting up in the paint. Walter if nothing else is versatile, he’s able to play the 3, 4, or the 5 spot and be equally as good at each. Walter has unlimited potential and boundless opportunity will await him in life because of his athletic gifts and size. The question isn’t will Walter play big time college basketball the question is how well will he do and can he live up to his full potential and the expectations of him. I truly believe he can and will. Stay tuned to see I can promise you that it will be exciting.

Coach's Notes: Devaughn is a upstanding young man who works extremely hard each day at getting better and has a great work ethic. I believe Devaughn is under developed as a player at this time, but wants to get better and has made great strides already in the NCBA Program. Devaughn will be a solid college player and will continue to grow. The level Devaughn plays at will determine his continued growth during the course of the long season ahead. Devaughn at this time is a strong D-! Juco Prospect who is working at getting his game to the next level.
